  • Annual: September 2018-March 2019: Broadside Lotus Press Poets Theater resumes at the University of Detroit-Mercy, lower level, in Grounds Coffee Haus. Poetry workshop with new and work in progress, critique by new attendees and seasoned poets, and open mic. 
  • August 11, 2018 Saginaw African Culture Festival, Saginaw MI. Read my poem "War is Here" with In the Tradition Jazz. 
  • July 25, 2018:  DIFSM Poetry Workshop for Youth at Faith Tabernacle Church. The youth wrote individual and group poems. 
  • April 28, 2018:  Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History: Poetry Month. I read excerpts from my upcoming book, "From A Detroit War Primer" with music by In The Tradition Jazz
